PSL provides a range of services including consulting, design, fabrication, and calibration in scientific instrumentation. We have been integral in helping hundreds of research projects nationwide meet the technical challenges of scientific discovery. Our highly trained staff can address the unique needs of projects of every scale and complexity. We also repair, clean, and maintain existing equipment.
PSL is a specialized service facility that supports the research initiatives of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, outside international and domestic research institutions, and the private sector by providing technical consultation, engineering design, construction, and testing services to researchers in need of specialized instrumentation to conduct their research. In particular, PSL staff has a long and successful history supporting projects in Antarctica and Greenland.
