Projects

For more than 40 years, PSL has partnered on over 6,000 projects spanning a wide range of disciplines, scales, and technical challenges. The examples below highlight just a small sample of our work and showcase the breadth of expertise we bring to every project. If you don’t see a project similar to yours, we encourage you to contact us! We’d be happy to discuss how PSL can help turn your ideas into reality.

IceCube Projects

The IceCube project uses a massive detector embedded in Antarctic ice to study neutrinos and the most energetic processes in the universe. PSL has supported IceCube from the original drill system through the Upgrade and next-generation Gen2 detector.

DUNE

The Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) is a major international experiment studying neutrinos to better understand the fundamental forces of nature. PSL is contributing engineering, electronics, and detector integration expertise to the project.

Fusion Energy

Fusion energy research explores the potential of using nuclear fusion to produce a safe, reliable source of energy. PSL supports fusion projects through engineering, fabrication, and specialized systems for advanced plasma research and fusion experiments.

LZ Dark Matter Experiment

LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) is a dark matter experiment located nearly a mile underground in South Dakota. Using liquid xenon, LZ searches for the particles that make up dark matter, with PSL contributing to the detector’s engineering and construction.
