Our first full day at Pole we spent getting oriented, including getting our computers online, receiving radios, and visiting key personnel to coordinate ASC support.
Saturday was our first full work day. We started by visiting and inspecting key equipment and Mobile Drilling Structures (MDS). After lunch, the Shop and MECC were delivered to the Cryo site. Both structures were connected to electrical and heaters were started in the Shop. The team spent the rest of the day setting up Cryo and these two MDSs.
We anticipate getting many more MDSs positioned, receiving some critical cargo, and welcoming the rest of our team early next week. Everyone is eager to get started with the bulk of the work refitting the Enhanced Hot Water Drill (EHWD).
