Early in the week, ASC completed grooming the Cryo site and we received an additional nine Mobile Drilling Structures (MDS). Team effort focused on finishing set up of our Cryo, Mobile Expandable Container Configuration (MECC), and Shop worksites.
As we received our MDSs, we worked to route power to each building to turn on lights and heat. This included ASC digging a trench to run power across a path frequently traveled by heavy equipment to bury electrical cables.
During the week we worked to locate and retrieve equipment stored on the berms, and as cargo started to arrive in mid-week we worked to unpack and distribute from the crates received. Work started on the Generators and Power Distribution Module (PDM), the Fuel Tower, and the Main Heating Plants (MHPs).
Saturday evening, we participated in the station Thanksgiving Dinner. Next week we hope to receive our remaining critical cargo early on and plan to have a fast start as we continue repairing and upgrading the MDSs of our Enhanced Hot Water Drill.
