With help from ASC, we installed a temporary bypass in place of the broken Generator 1 thermostatic valve discovered last week. A replacement valve is being hand carried by our 2nd half-deployers.
Following repairs, our team ran Generator 1 and conducted load testing through the Power Distribution Module (PDM).
ICU Team completed a temporary repair to the 480 V Disconnect Handle. A replacement handle is being hand-carried by our 2nd half-deployers. We also completed brake and solenoid testing, load cell testing, ran the reel, filled the system with glycol-water mix, and tested all heaters.
Our goal is to be ready to start the Temporary Outfall with the IFD next week.
ASC delivered the ARA sled train and the White Generator to the Cryo site.
Both Water Tanks were delivered to ASC Carpenter Shop for the construction of dog houses and the installation of railings and ladders.
We have made excellent progress in the face of many challenges but overall progress has been slower than planned. Next week we anticipate receipt of the remaining critical cargo and the arrival of 2nd half personnel. This should boost our efficiency over the coming weeks.
