Summary
ICU Team completed all work on the Mobile Drilling Structures (MDSs) for Field Season 1. Early next week we will complete inventory and packing to wrap up the field season. The team’s scheduled departure date has been moved up from 12 February to 8 February based on our progress.
Power Generation
ASC moved Power Distribution Module (PDM) to the Seasonal Equipment Site (SES).
Antarctic Rodwell Assembly (ARA)
ICU Team completed post-drill review.
Completed winterizing ARA Drill.
ASC pulled drill to berm.
Tower Operations Site (TOS)
ICU Team installed and tested Network Boxes in both TOSs.
Completed testing of all reels and winches from both TOSs.
Installed crescent wheels on Sheaves for both Towers.
ASC moved TOS 1 & 2 and Tower 1 & 2 to berm.
Reels and Winches
ASC moved Main Cable Reel (MCR) and Main Supply Hose Reel (MSHR) to Cryo work site.
Tested MCR and MSHR from both TOSs.
ASC moved TU-15 and both TU-20 Winches, RWCR, MCR, and MSHR to berms.
Seasonal Equipment Workshop (SEW)
ASC moved SEW to work site.
ICU Team installed two DGH modules in Network Box.
ASC moved SEW to berm.
Inventory and Packing
ICU Team removed DNF equipment from all Mobile Drilling Structures (MDSs) and packed equipment for winter in designated space in the Cryo facility.
Working on hose and cable inventories as well as inventories of each MDS.
Completed packing and inventorying 5 of 8 Milvans.
Seasonal Equipment Site (SES)
Generators, MHPs, Fuel Tower, HPP, Water Tanks, and PHS at SES.
